During his report at today's plenary session in the Parliament, the head of the Special Prosecution Office, Altin Dumani, answered a question addressed to him by Democratic MP Klevis Balliu, regarding the investigations against Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

Dumani stressed that he has not received any report from Prosecutor Dritan Prençi, as stated in the media that he has received threats not to investigate Minister Balluku.

"Now, regarding the matter, it is a matter under investigation, I have no comment to make. Prosecutor Prençi and all special prosecutors will have my support in their investigations."

"Mr. Prençi has not told me anything. He has my full support, in all the cases he is pursuing. Not just him but everyone. In no single case have I been a lobbyist for investigations, I have tried to create an environment where prosecutors are responsible for conducting investigations and I have supported all of them and will continue to support them, until the last day as director of the Special Prosecution Office," said Dumani.
