The Police Supervision Agency (Elbasan-Korçë Region) has executed the security measures of a coercive nature "Obligation to report to the judicial police" and "Prohibition of leaving the country", against 3 police officers, suspected of the criminal offenses "Organizing or carrying out gambling activities", committed in collaboration, "Making premises available for illegal gambling" and "Abuse of office". Specifically:

Inspector Hysen Duka, on duty at the time of the commission of the criminal offense, General Patrol Officer at the Elbasan Police Commissariat, currently on duty as a Facility Security and Protection Service Trooper, at the Gjadër Reception and Security Unit, at the DVP-Lezha.

Inspector Gëzim Duka, on duty at the time of the commission of the criminal offense, General Patrol Officer at the Elbasan Police Station, currently on duty as General Patrol Officer at the Kukës Police Station.

Inspector Ervin Shimplaku, on duty at the Interurban and Urban Traffic Service Unit at the DVP-Elbasan.

"The execution of security measures was made possible after investigations conducted using special methods revealed that police officers, in collaboration with citizen FD (arrested on 23.03.2025), have made available the bar-cafe premises owned by them for the purpose of organizing illegal gambling activities. Meanwhile, police officer E. SH., acting in breach of his duty, has unauthorizedly intervened in the electronic fines system "E-FINE", in order to search for data on funds on behalf of third parties", the AMP announced.
