Inter Miami has won its fifth trophy in history and Leo Messi is part of it.

In the final of the "Campeones Cup", the Mexicans Cruz Azul were defeated with a score of 2-0.

Messi found the net in the 24th minute. It was an unusual goal for him as he scored with his head.

Casemiro thought of sealing the result. The latter found his way to the net in the 81st minute.

And although Cruz Azul registered 17 shots, more than double Inter Miami's, none of them were on goal.

Messi became the fastest player in MLS history to reach 100 goals with a single club in all competitions, recording 100 goals and 55 assists in 114 games with Inter Miami.

Meanwhile, this was also Messi's 36th goal in the final and, according to the aforementioned data, brought his total number of career goals to 929.

At the age of 39, Messi continues to add records and trophies to an already historic career.
