The Albanian national team continues with its poor performances. After the draw with Iceland and the loss to Israel, Albania disappointed in the friendly against the modest Estonia, where it could not go beyond the goalless draw, confirming the difficulty of the team to create and score.
Coach Reja had chosen to give the opportunity to the players who were little or not active in the two matches of the League of Nations, while from the first minute they played names like Bajrami, Mihaj, Hoxhallari, Çokaj, Seferi and Ramadani.
In the first half, the red and blacks had the initiative, but failed to concretize in cases, as the only opportunity to score was in the head of Giacomo Vrioni, who shot badly and sent the ball over the blocks.
In the second 45 minutes, Reja threw names like Uzuni and Broja on the field, to give another rhythm to the team's game, but despite some cases created, the result remained unchanged.
Twice the opposing goalkeeper became an obstacle for scoring the goal, while in 2-3 other cases Uzuni was inaccurate in finding the goal, making Albania unable to go beyond a goalless draw.
This was the last challenge of Albania for this season, as the red and blacks will return to the field on September 24 and 27, for the matches of the League of Nations against Israel and Iceland.
This season closes in a disappointing way for the red and blacks, who not only see themselves far from the first place in the groups of the League of Nations, but show that they do not know how to score even against a modest opponent like Estonia.
