Scary fall, the cyclist falls unconscious on the track

English cyclist Joe Truman has been knocked unconscious after a horrific crash while riding at 72km/h in a bike race.

Truman broke his collarbone after falling on the track during the final lap of the Keirin semi-final. The 25-year-old collided with his opponent Matthew Glaetzer, who fell first to the hard floor, becoming an obstacle for Truman as well.

The cyclist initially remained motionless on the track while medical staff went to his aid. After regaining consciousness, he left in a wheelchair while receiving oxygen and was taken to the hospital where he underwent a head scan.
