Zegjine Çaushi has been involved in a debate with a Facebook commenter, after the latter accused her of buying an apartment worth 240 thousand euros after only one year as an MP.
"I love Zeqine, 1+1 makes three, you added servile people like Spiro and you got 240 thousand euros with 1 year as a member of parliament," the commentator wrote.
The SP MP has denied the accusation, explaining that she did not buy a completed house, but booked an apartment with a loan and installments, in a building that has not yet begun construction.
She asked the commentator to present evidence for the figure mentioned, rather than making claims without facts.
"Okay, what do you base your claim that I bought a house for 240 thousand euros? Or is it enough to invent a figure and say it as if it were true?"
I booked an apartment, as thousands of Albanians do, with credit and installments, in a building that has not yet begun construction. I have not received a single completed house.
"If you have facts for what you claim, present them. Otherwise, don't make up numbers and sell them as truth in comments behind the keyboard," was the MP's response.
