Bayern Munich will face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, after the Bavarian giants demolished Atalanta 10-2 on aggregate.

After winning 4-1 in the second leg, Bayern secured one of the deepest victories in the competition's history against an Italian team in the knockout stages.

Harry Kane stressed that his team is not afraid of anyone, while eagerly awaiting the challenge against the competition's record holders.

"Real Madrid are always a dangerous opponent, but we are not afraid of anyone," said Kane.

"These will be exciting matches for everyone, I can't wait for them."

Bayern have scored over 10 goals in a two-match Champions League tie for the third time in history (previously against Sporting in 2008-09 and Arsenal in 2016-17), a record that no other team has achieved more than once.

Kane scored twice in this match, taking his tally to 50 goals in the Champions League. Only Erling Haaland and Ruud van Nistelrooy have reached the milestone in fewer games than him, while Kane is on the same level as Lionel Messi (66 games).

The English striker has also scored 29 goals in 34 Champions League games for Bayern, more than any other player since the start of the 2023-24 season.
