The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina has authorized the Kosovo Police to initiate investigative actions regarding a serious financial security incident at "Raiffeisen Bank".

The investigations have begun after suspicions that an employee of this bank had unauthorized access to the bank account of the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama.

According to law enforcement sources, the person suspected of this intervention has been identified as Albion Ferati. The motives for this action, whether related to personal or professional reasons, still remain unclear to investigators.

For its part, "Raiffeisen Bank" has officially confirmed receipt of the complaint from Mr. Rama and announced that it has initiated internal verification procedures.
