The leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, has reacted after the arrest of Ermal Beqiraj in France, raising strong accusations and concerns about the security of Albanian citizens' data.

In a post on social media, Shehaj stated that Beqiraj, who was wanted by SPAK in connection with the AKSHI file, was arrested after allegedly flying over a nuclear power plant in France. He also claims that French authorities have found a listening device on him and that he is being investigated for possible links to a spy network.

"Worldwide scandal! Ermal Beqiraj, the businessman involved in the AKSHI file, the one who said in SPAK wiretaps 'that information is everything', the man who controlled the most sensitive systems of the Albanian state, is arrested in France after flying over a nuclear power plant. French authorities found surveillance equipment on him and suspect that he belongs to a spy network. Do you understand in whose hands we have left the data? Do you understand who has Albania and Albanian citizens in his hands? Rama's noose is tightening, the end has come!", writes Shehaj.
