Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted on the "X" platform to the Socialist Party's proposal on Territorial Reform.
According to him, "the proposed reform document is precisely in its 60-day public legal consultation phase, and this phase means precisely that, everyone is allowed to express themselves freely about the proposal."
Rama emphasized that "everyone will be informed much more during these 60 days regarding the logical reasons for the proposals - where there was no way to take into account the reputation of the municipal area since antiquity, the number of those who fell in the wars of the last 2,000 years or other data and traditions of this nature, which have not been and cannot be any arguments in this debate."
Edi Rama's full post:
The cry of the knight's plight continues, his legs hanging limp, and finally with great agitation from the mourners and mourners, who are now protesting "within the SP" and this is a terribly bad sign for the "regime".
Actually no, except for the shameful act of burning SP cards in one case, by some individuals who themselves did not know exactly what they were doing, or a case where our MPs acted as "the tribune of the minority" without knowing exactly what they were saying, everything else is not only normal but also welcome.
One, because the proposed reform document is precisely in its 60-day public legal consultation phase, and this phase means precisely that, everyone is allowed to express themselves freely about the proposal.
Two, because according to the law, mayors and municipal councils must express their positions in writing, and it is completely understandable that those who are against it can also express themselves in other peaceful ways - as long as they do not block roads or prevent others from going about their lives, thereby putting themselves in conflict with the law and with the Socialist Party.
Three, because neither in Albania is there a regime, nor in the Socialist Party, and there will be no decision to discourage anyone from expressing their opinion on this reform, which will certainly be decided by parliament, but until then everyone will be heard, including municipalities that may want to integrate smaller municipalities that in the current proposal remain as they are.
On the other hand, everyone will be informed much more during these 60 days regarding the logical reasons for the proposals - where there was no way to take into account the reputation of the municipal area since antiquity, the number of those who fell in the wars of the last 2000 years, or other data and traditions of this nature, which have not been and cannot be any arguments in this debate.
