Parliament returns to work on Tuesday! Agenda approved

After more than six weeks, the Parliament will return to work on Tuesday, September 8. This Friday, the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, has called the deputies to the first public plenary session after the end of the summer holidays.

Meanwhile, the agenda is also public, where initially there will be the opening of the 3rd session of the 11th Legislature of the Assembly of Albania, the approval of the minutes of the July 27 session, and finally the draft laws proposed by the deputies will be presented.

The first plenary session will have three main items on the agenda:

-Opening of proceedings: Official opening of the 3rd session of the 11th Legislature of the Assembly of Albania, based on article 74, point 1 of the Constitution and the rules of procedure of the parliament.

-Approval of minutes: Review and approval of the minutes from the last plenary session held on July 27, 2026.

-Official announcements: Presentation of announcements on deposited draft laws and new parliamentary initiatives.
