Richard Grenell has reacted to the statement of the European Union representative, Marta Kos, regarding the decision of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague for the four former KLA leaders.

Marta Kos said that the court's decision must be respected and stressed that the Specialist Chambers are an independent court. She also recalled that the convicts have the right to appeal the decision.

Following this statement, Richard Grenell expressed an opposing position.

In a post on the X platform, Grenell wrote that he does not consider the process to be fair.

"No. Keeping someone in prison for six years for something that allegedly happened 25 years ago is shameful. Europe needs to reform its institutions and its policies. This is not justice; it is elite activism."

"It is another stain on Europe. Funding for these radical courts must be stopped immediately ," he wrote.
