"Russia is bombing grain depots in Kiev"
President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has been harsh when she said Russia was already hitting grain depots across Ukraine.

" We are seeing how Russia has turned its energy supplies into weapons. Unfortunately, we are seeing the same pattern emerge in food security. Ukraine is one of the most fertile countries in the world.

Its flag also symbolizes the most common Ukrainian landscape, a field of yellow wheat under a blue sky.

Now, those wheat fields are burned. In Russian-occupied Ukraine, the Kremlin army is seizing grain and machinery stocks. " Today, Russian artillery is deliberately bombarding grain warehouses throughout Ukraine ," said the president of the EU Commission.
