Deadlock in the Kosovo Assembly, VV does not vote for Vlora Çitaku

After the adjournment of the constitutive session, the Vetëvendosje Movement declared that it is ready to vote for the PDK candidate for deputy speaker of the Assembly, but not Vlora Çitaku, said the head of the VV parliamentary group, Arbërie Nagavci, after the adjournment of the session.

According to her, Vetëvendosje has made its efforts to reach an agreement with PDK and LDK with the aim of constituting the Assembly and listed some of them. 

" It was an attempt to reach a political agreement, in order to vote in a package for all the vice presidents, to constitute the Assembly and to continue the work."

"The Vetëvendosje Movement will vote for a PDK candidate for vice president, as it is entitled to, and of course it will vote for an LDK candidate for vice president. But we cannot vote for Ms. Çitaku ," she declared.
