There are suspicions in Kosovo that the monkey's lamb has arrived. Local health authorities report that a 69-year-old man from the municipality of Dragash / Dragaash in Kosovo has sought help at the UCCK Infectious Diseases Clinic with monkey pox symptoms.

He was hospitalized at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and a sample was taken that will be sent for laboratory tests. According to the Ministry of Health, the patient's condition is stable while epidemiological surveillance of the patient and tracking of contacts continues.

"The sample will be sent to the WHO reference laboratory in the Netherlands, we are waiting for the laboratory results until the final diagnosis according to the prescribed criteria. The patient is in isolation, hospitalized in the Infectious Diseases Clinic, UCCK " , announced the Ministry of Health.
