A group of teachers in Albania have come out with a reaction regarding the student protest, expressing their support for the students. The Union of University Employees of Albania announces that tomorrow the teachers will march in front of the Polytechnic University of Tirana.

Announcement of the Union of University Employees of Albania:

The Union of University Teachers of Albania (SPUSH) has been supporting and participating in the student protest that has been going on for 6 days. It is following with extreme caution and concern the police violence, which no longer recognizes institutional protocols or humaneness. In these conditions, we invite you: on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 10:00, to a solidarity march with the motto "STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST STUDENTS", Square in front of the Polytechnic University - UPT. 

Our participation is a civic and human obligation and serves to protect the lives of students and pave the way for dialogue. A greater participation shows that real elites exist and are in the position they deserve for the good of our nation.
