Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday that Israel is awaiting approval from the United States to launch a new offensive against Iran, which he said would target current leaders and strategic targets.
"We are waiting for the green light from the United States, first of all to complete the elimination of the Khamenei dynasty," Katz said during an assessment of the security situation.
According to him, Israel is ready to resume fighting, emphasizing that the army is prepared for both defense and attack.
"The IDF is ready on defense and on offense, and the objectives are set," he said.
Katz warned that a potential attack would also include strikes on Iran's energy and economic infrastructure, in addition to targets linked to the current leadership, including Mojtaba Khamenei.
"The attack this time will be different and deadly, adding devastating blows to the most sensitive points," he declared.
