Italy will remove the masks starting June 15th. The only effective anti-Covid measure left in the neighboring country is the obligation to place the mask indoors.

But in a recent statement from the Ministry of Health, it was announced that the authorities estimate that there is no longer any reason to continue wearing the mask.

Meanwhile, the cases of the Omicron BA.2 sub-variant have increased significantly, from 0.4% in May to 13% now in June.

This subvariant is spreading rapidly on our continent over the last month. However it does not turn out to be the severe form of Sars Cov2.
