Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov paid a visit to Turkey on Wednesday to discuss establishing safe corridors for Ukrainian grain exports.

Lavrov was confronted by a Ukrainian journalist who asked him about the issue of wheat exports: "Apart from cereals, what goods did you steal in Ukraine and to whom did you sell them?" Asked Muslim Umerov.

For his part, Lavrov said with a smile: "You Ukrainians are always concerned about this situation and think that everyone thinks so."

Meanwhile Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the battle for the eastern city of Sievierodonetsk would decide the fate of Donbas and was seeing perhaps the toughest fighting since the start of the Russian occupation.
