Pakistan has handed over to Iran a 15-point document drafted by the United States as a basis for a ceasefire and negotiations to end the conflict in the Middle East.

The proposal addresses issues such as sanctions, the nuclear program, missile restrictions, and access through the Strait of Hormuz.

But Iran has rejected the US proposal to stop the war and has presented five conditions for a ceasefire agreement.

According to a senior official, it is demanding a complete halt to attacks by the US and Israel, as well as guarantees that the war will not happen again. Iran is also demanding compensation for war damages and an end to conflicts throughout the region.

Another condition is international recognition of Iran's right to control the Strait of Hormuz.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said that American diplomacy cannot be trusted, following attacks on Iran during the negotiations. He warned that Iran will continue to defend itself.

But according to Pakistani sources, there could be a breakthrough in negotiations between the United States and Iran within 48 hours.

Turkey and Pakistan are acting as mediators to resolve the conflict in the Middle East.
