Iranian military authorities have categorically denied claims of holding negotiations with the United States, contradicting US President Donald Trump's recent statements about a "very good conversation."
According to positions coming from the ranks of the Iranian military, there is no ongoing negotiation process nor any real attempt to reach a one-month ceasefire agreement, as reported by the American side.
An Iranian military spokesman, commenting on these claims, ironized Washington in harsh tones, stating that a country that considers itself a "global superpower" would have already withdrawn from the conflict if it had the opportunity.
He added that the United States is trying to disguise a failure as an agreement, while emphasizing that "the era of empty promises is over."
In his statement, the spokesman also noted internal tensions in the US, suggesting that they have reached a point where they are "negotiating with themselves."
