US President Donald Trump's administration has presented Iran with a broad package of conditions for ending the war, Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 reports, citing sources familiar with the negotiations.
According to the report, these conditions include the main objectives of the US and Israel in the conflict.
The main US demands on Iran:
Dismantling existing nuclear capacities
Commitment not to develop nuclear weapons
Ban on uranium enrichment on Iranian territory
Delivery of enriched uranium reserves (about 60%) to the International Atomic Energy Agency
Dismantling of nuclear facilities in Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow
Full access and transparency for the IAEA on Iranian territory
Renouncing support for allied groups in the region
Prohibition of financing, directing and arming these groups
Keeping the Strait of Hormuz open as a free maritime corridor
Limiting the ballistic missile program in range and quantity
Use of missiles only for self-defense
What Iran benefits according to the report:
Complete lifting of international sanctions
American support for the development of the civil nuclear program
Removing the "snapback" mechanism for the automatic reinstatement of sanctions.
However, Channel 12 points out that there are concerns in Israel that the Trump administration may push for a quick agreement in principle, including a month-long ceasefire during which the details will be negotiated.
"The scenario of a quick and unclear agreement is causing concern at the political and security level in Israel," the report said.
According to sources, Trump's close advisers, including Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, are promoting a process that begins with a ceasefire and continues with negotiations.
The fear in Israel is related to the possibility that such an agreement could be reached before the concrete terms are finalized, giving Iran an advantage in the end of the conflict.
