In an effort to protect the unprotected and unjustifiable justified, health ministry executives cut off the mufka one after the other.

Racacolli said they're not just leaving for paychecks. He may be partly right. A portion can be well paid in Albania, but they choose to flee even from the lack of prospect of making careers within the health system in Albania.

What kills this prospect? Nepotic employment, corruption, promotion to duties and coveted positions of the disabled, servile, family friends and party people are all the main contributors.

Today, the new generation of professional doctors uses the public health system for practice and as a springspring to jump to private hospitals, or at best to jump abroad, where they are valued for what they are, not what they have.

And to say that Germans are fleeing to Switzerland and America is the next mufka and alibi that has no b... Where to stay. That even Germans emigrate is not the discovery of Rakacoll and the Ministry of Health in Albania. But to hyperbolize the emigration of German doctors to such sizes as Germany to seek Albanian doctors is excessive.

After that there is only one truth. That like other sectors, health in Albania has not established a merit system of promoting the aft and professional, but has remained in the swamp of corruption and nepotism that Rakacolli and others in the Ministry of Health have not known, know, or wanted and do not want to accept and fight.

To sell your new doctors and nurses today to the health system as heaven is like sell the soap for cheese. Only a few days ago, the lack of medication for children with tumours was denounced.

So heartless is the built system and those who face the first with the righteous anger of citizens for these absences are white T-shirts, which in no few cases have been violated. This anger is a plus factor that drives them to emigrate to Germany, even though they know there that paradise does not await them.

Even many nurses and doctors who chose to leave there started it from the nursing homes of the elders. But they have sacrificed because there they have the hope and confidence that the work will be appreciated, both financially and morally and through career promotion.
