Vangjush Dako has long been declared 'non grata' by the US for involvement under corruptive affiliations. However, the former mayor of Durres has found a way to remove America's goods.
Dako was photographed alongwith Socialist MP Blendi Klosi near the US Embassy.
In photos obtained by Voxnews, he is seen walking and chatting on a street near the US Embassy headquarters in Tirana.
The two of them had lunch together at a restaurant in this area. The topic of conversation is unknown. But what is known is that unlike Sali Berisha, Vangjush Dako has been 'reconciled' with the American decision, although after this decision he denied the accusations, even using the term "I have my ice cream hands", to mean that he had them clean.
Vangjush Dako was declared non grata in the U.S. in July 2019.
"Public appointment due to involvement in significant corruption of Vangjush Dakos, mayor of Durres in Albania. The Secretary of State is publicly defining the mayor of Durres in Albania Vangjush Dako, according to Section 7031 (c) of the FY State Department 2019. Section 7031 (c) provides that in cases where the Secretary of State has reliable information that foreign officials have been involved in considerable corruption or a major violation of human rights, those individuals and their close family members are not entitled to entry into the United States" It was said in dash's decision.
