Prime Minister Rama has decided that ministers will be barred from meeting with businessmen by law. They may not accept tickets paid for by private individuals and companies or attend bars and restaurants on weekdays.

Ministers are specifically prohibited from gambling: They should not enter any gambling environment. They must also respect the rules of the road. If the cabinet member commits one of these violations, he or she should either apologize publicly or be fired immediately.

The rules announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama at the beginning of the third term of government, and approved in September last year by the Council of Ministers entered into force on Friday, April 29.

The " New Code of Ethics " allows meeting with business groups only in the presence of 2 public servants who keep minutes of meetings, the identity of persons and record in a special register the issues discussed.

Ministers will now be legally barred from traveling in "Bussines Class" within Europe, using the VIP lounge at the airport or the work car for family members when they are not present.

Kryeministri Edi Rama në kongresin e Partisë Socialiste mes rreshtave, një fjali e shkurtër e tij u drejtohej deputetëve dhe ministrave që ka në varësi për të mos qenë ‘grykës’ dhe të vendosin pasuri në kurriz të shqiptarëve.

“Në botën tjetër nuk punojnë kartat e kreditit. Në Sharrë më mirë përgatituni që të shkoni siç dilja unë dikur në plazh se asgjë nuk ju dallon nga ata tjerët atje dhe kostumin lëruani djemve... se me burrat e kam”, tha Rama.

Pjesa e fundit e fjalisë nënkupton se Rama po u drejtohej deputetëve burra që janë në radhët e Partisë Socialiste. Mes tyre ka nga ata që kanë hyrë në politikë të pasur, por ka edhe nga ata që janë pasuruar më shumë pas hyrjes në politikë.
