In addition to family members, the investigators are interrogating all the people who may have information about the last movements of the 40-year-old in international search, before he cut off contact with his family and his fate was shrouded in mystery.

After the arrest of the agent of the Special Operational Force in the State Police, Jeton Lami, who is accused of abuse of office, after accompanying Martinaj, in order for the latter to escape the actions of the police, the prosecutors have fallen on the trail of a girl , who was in the company of the most wanted man days before the family knocked on the doors of the police and asked for help.

The girl was interrogated by the prosecutors and admitted that since January of this year she was associated with the wanted man, whom she says she met through social networks.

"The last time we met was the evening of August 5. An acquaintance of his accompanied us to a hotel in Durrës. We stayed there that night and he picked us up the next day. I ran home. For the next two days, I communicated with him, but then the contacts were cut off", explains the girl.

She says that she tried by all means to connect with Martinaj, but she couldn't. For this reason, he began to worry and contacted people who knew about him, but he did not learn anything about the fate of the 40-year-old. The young woman says that she had no idea why Martinaj had collided with her and for what reasons, while she points out that he never expressed concern to her, or narrated any events related to her.

The prosecution has been investigating for more than 2 weeks for kidnapping, after the denunciation of the gambling king's family members. Martinaj was wanted, as part of the "Golden Bullet" operation, after the repentant justice Nuredin Dumani said that he had promised 500,000 euros to kill Endri Doklen. The prosecution is investigating to shed light on the fate of Martinaj, not excluding any track, starting from the fact that he had many and strong opponents.
