A 55-year-old Albanian in Italy drowned in the river on Thursday afternoon, the incident happened in Stradella of Pavia. The Albanian, whose identity has not been disclosed, was bathing in the waters of the river together with his partner.

But then the 55-year-old Albanian was not coming out of the water. According to the Italian media, the drama took place in front of the eyes of the wife, who saw that she could not get out of the river.

She immediately called the police. Searches began in the area, while the body was later found about 200 meters away from the place where he had entered to wash.

The Italian press reports that the place where the 55-year-old man went to bathe in the river Po is dangerous due to strong currents.
