The pastures in the village of Likomil in Dropulli, Gjirokastër were engulfed in flames today, as the fire caused great damage in a part of the territory.

Dropulli's firefighting forces, supported by a part of the Gjirokastra department, have arrived at the scene to put out the fire.

However, extinguishing the flames is difficult due to the strong wind that favors the spread among the dry vegetation. The flames have taken direction from the residential area of the village, but in advance the houses are not at risk.
