The Court of Appeals has today given the security measures for 45 arrested in the framework of the 'anti-drug operation 'Threads' in Elbasan. 35 detainees have been left with the measure of "arrest in prison".

The operation, which took place on June 29, hit four criminal groups distributing drugs in different cities.

Seven others are under house arrest and three others will be put under house arrest. Four criminal groups in Tirana, The Oblast, Prrenjas, Cërrik, Belsh and Librazhd were hit from this megaoperation.

For a period of almost three months, the investigative structures, at the direction of the head of the Elbasan Prosecution Office, at the same time prosecutor of this case, have analyzed in detail all information provided by police intelligence, not only for the current period, but for a period of several years.
