It's not a weapons depot in Crimea, Grenfell garbage has caught fire

For someone who is not familiar with the geography of Vlora, these images may bring to attention the war between Ukraine and Russia.

But it is not a missile attack, nor a powerful explosion on Russian weapons depots. Since then, the mountain of rubbish has been on fire in the tourist city of Vlora.

In the evening hours of this week, the situation is not looking good. The fire is reported to have spread further, including large areas of remains at the site.

A huge plume of cancerous and heavy-smelling smoke has blanketed a large part of the coastal city, it certainly stands out from the coast of neighbouring Italy.

Firefighters are unable to control the blaze. The air-to-air intervention is not coming yet.
