The identity of the peron who was shot dead yesterday evening in Pisa, Italy, is revealed. It is learned that the victim is 36-year-old Elson Kalaveri.

He got out of prison in Albania a few weeks ago and went to Italy. In 2014, he shot Gent Keçi in the head, leaving him seriously injured. The event took place at the Mamurras police station

Gent Keçi was the owner of a bar with 'live' music near Rinas. At that time, Kalaveri stated that he did everything in self-defense. "The goat was chasing me to kill me. He entered the police premises as if he were in his own house. I was going to protect my head, so I shot him with a pistol", Kalaveri said.

The 36-year-old was killed yesterday evening inside his car, while the car was being driven by another person. The car then drove a few meters further to ask for help in a bar.

According to the first evidence, it is said that the perpetrators left in a dark-colored car. The police suspect that the incident happened for revenge and that the author is an Albanian. 

The event in 2014

Around 00:45, Elson Kalaveri entered the Mamurras police station armed. It is known that he stopped his step to the blues to denounce his neighbor, Gent Keçi. At this moment he entered the police station and Gent Keçi. The two persons in question argued fiercely in the presence of police officers.

Kalaveri, thinking that his neighbor was armed, took out the pistol he was carrying and pointed it at him. He immediately shot him in the head, seriously injuring him. Everything happened very quickly. The police handcuffed the perpetrator, while the injured was urgently sent to the Tirana Military Hospital, where he was in critical condition.

In the official announcement, Kurbini police stated that the incident took place in the city of Mamurras and not within the police station of this city.

Initially, the fight between two residents of Thumana started in the night bar. According to the investigators of the case, Elson Kalaveri went to the bar with 'live' music owned by Keçi, which is located near Rinas. He had a fight with the local singers. The owner Keçi confronted his neighbor Kalaveri and took the gun to kill him. Immediately the young man left, but Keçi followed him to Mamurras. Occurring in such a situation, Kalaveri entered the police station of this city, to denounce the owner of the bar and at the same time to escape possible murder.

Gent Keçi left the gun in the car and entered the police station. Only a few minutes later, he came out seriously injured.
