Vlora Police have conducted an action in connection with Monday's event, where a suspected amount of explosive substance, TNT, was placed in the vehicle of the head of the Shushicë Administrative Unit, Igli Bimaj.

According to sources from the Vlora Police, 4 people were escorted during the operation, while two of them are reported to have been put in handcuffs. The detainees and arrestees are suspected to be from Tirana.

One of the arrested is suspected of being the person who planted the explosives, while the other is suspected of being the person who helped the perpetrators escape in a car.

As part of the investigative actions, it is learned that the police have also blocked a vehicle, which may help clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Meanwhile, the police continue their investigations to fully unravel the incident and determine the role of the escorted persons in placing the explosives.
