After the Himara tragedy, the border police blocked many boats and fined their drivers, but there are those who believe that this happened unfairly.

One of them is Fabian Dodaj, the citizen detained yesterday by the border police in Velipoja because he was driving a speedboat.

He has warned that he will sue the border police in the Prosecutor's office and has also notified the American embassy. According to him, the boat has American documents and before going out to sea he notified the police according to the regulations, but then he faced verbal violence and pressure on him and his family.

Fabian Doda was escorted to the police, leaving his children and wife in the middle of the sea, as well as 4 other family friends, who did not know how to use the boat to return to the shore.

The Albanian-American family has filmed the entire moment of the clash with the police until the moment when the boss tells them that they are within all the rules.

According to them, the effectives have exercised terror and this is the worst image of tourism in Albania.
