The Tirana Court has decided to extradite to Turkey 32-year-old Julide Yazici, arrested in Albania on suspicion of links to a terrorist organization, as Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha learns.

Two months ago, the Court of Appeal upheld the "prison arrest" measure for Turkish citizen Julide Yazici, 32, who was arrested in Albania after being declared wanted by Turkish authorities.

Yazici, who according to public data has been granted political asylum in France, is accused by Turkish justice of providing logistical support to a terrorist organization and participating in a terrorist organization.

She was wanted for her alleged involvement in protests in support of Kurdish rights that took place in Turkey several years ago. According to the Turkish authorities' file, evidence related to the investigation was found during searches of an apartment in Istanbul. For this case, Yazici was sentenced in absentia to 4 years in prison.
