An unusual event occurred in a swimming pool in Shkodra, where a 10-year-old child was trapped after his hand was stuck in the pool pipe.

It took the intervention of the city's firefighters, who managed to free the boy without any damage to his arm, sending him to the hospital.

The child was stretchered away while there was still a piece of the tube in his hand. Mayor Benet Beci thanked the firefighters in a Facebook post.

Today was not easy for firefighters. After commitments to extinguish fires in two areas, the morning found them in another difficult situation. A 10-year-old boy is trapped in one of the swimming pools of a private business. His hand was trapped in the pool's bottom hose, where firefighters intervened to empty the pool in time, as well as to extract the child without damaging his arm. Thanks to their sacrifice work, today they have managed to win in the name of life! Thank you very much, everyone," he said.
