The Court of Lezha


The Lezha court has convicted two perpetrators of violence against journalist Elvis Hila, an event that occurred earlier this year.

The court sentenced Indrit Amer to 7 months and 5 days in prison and Paulin Luka (Pergjini) to 6 months in prison, while due to the shortened trial the sentences were reduced to 5 months for Amer and 4 months for Luka.

The latter was released after being deemed to have served time sentences.

Journalist Hila was attacked after reporting on a decision by the Lezha Court against the relative of one of the accused.
