Eurobasket / Italy "sinks" Serbia, France wins in the last breath

Nikola Jokic's 32 points were not enough for Serbia to pass Italy in the round of 16 of Eurobasket.

The Italians triumphed thanks to the collective game, passing to the quarterfinals after the overall result 94 to 86.

With this victory, Italy confirms the team's good form and strengthens its position as a contender, given the fact that at the start of the competition, Serbia was considered one of the main contenders to be declared champion.

Turkey, another contender for the title, was eliminated by France in a match that took extra seconds to decide the winner. In the end, the French rejoiced thanks to the result 87 to 86.

These results determine the first quarter-final, which is between Italy and France.
