Francesco Toti has chosen to remain silent after the sensational divorce with Ilaria Blazin. His silence fueled rumors that the reason for the couple's separation was the betrayal of the former Roma captain.

However, the former footballer has broken his silence on what is called the divorce of the century in Italy and in a long interview for Corriere, he blames his ex-wife. He says she cheated on him first.

"In September of last year, rumors started coming to me: see that Ilary has another. Even more than one. It seemed impossible, but I found the messages. In 20 years, I had never checked her phone and neither had she checked mine. But when I heard voices from various people whom I trust, I began to doubt. I took a look at the cell phone and noticed that a third person acted as an intermediary between Ilaria and another"

The former legendary captain of Rome says that he started the relationship with Noemi after the new year, while Ilarian accuses him of stealing his Rolex watches.

“She went with her father to empty the safe boxes and took my watch collection. He left neither the guarantees nor the boxes. There are some very valuable Rolexes. He claims I gave it to him; but if it's a men's watch… i refuse to think it's a matter of money. If anything, it's a rage. And what was I supposed to do? I hid the bags from her, hoping for an exchange... But there was no way," adds the former footballer.
