Elis Bakaj turns 35 in June and this age for footballers is retirement from the field, with rare exceptions.
For this reason, Bakaj has started to think about life after closing his sports career.
Most recently, the attacker was part of Rukh Brest in Belarus with whom he closed his contract in December 2021, before the start of the war in Ukraine. But, these months without a team and without daily commitment, Bakaj has used them and decided to become a co-owner of two of the most popular Fast-Food brands in the capital of Romania, Bucharest.

Ellis's wife, Andreea is from Romania and it has definitely been a big push to enter the business world in Romania. The former striker of Tirana, but also of many teams in Superiore has expressed his happiness for this new initiative and with confidence that everything will go well.
"I think it is a very good business, it has nothing to do with football, but I think it is worth it. Everyone here in Romania knows this brand because it has been on the market for 15 years. It's something new to me and I'm glad I opened it here, everyone likes this kind of food and I will go well. Now I have got two affiliates and I have made the best investments and I expect numerous people to come here.
I like spicy food, I'm not a "fan" of orders. Now that I have been without a contract for the last four months I have started consuming a lot of this type of food, I used to rarely consume it because I was focused only on exercise. However, I still look good because I do sports. "I very much hope that everything goes well with this new initiative", said Bakaj.
Bakaj played in Romania with Dinamo Bucharest, with which he won the Cup in the 2011-2012 season, while he was also part of Chernomorets Odessa for two years.
