Berisha also gives a post in PD to Çim Peka's brother
Sali Berisha, Avenir Peka and Çim Peka

The chairman of the DP, Sali Berisha, has also given a post in the party to Avenir Peka, the brother of the journalist Çim Peka. Avenir Peka is placed in charge of the Department of Order and Security in DP.

Peka is a lawyer by profession, and has served in the government of the Democratic Party as Advisor to the Prime Minister for Order and National Security; Deputy Minister of the Interior, Commanding Minister of the Interior; and State Attorney at the International Courts.

Previously, he served as an International Legal Adviser, at the Department of Justice, in UNMIK, Kosovo.

Peka is a PhD candidate in Law. He completed postgraduate studies in Public Administration at the Faculty of Economics; Public Leadership Course at Harvard University; The Higher Postgraduate Security Course, at the Security Academy of the Armed Forces.
