The Municipal Council of Tirana meets, starts with a minute's silence for
Erion Veliaj

The Municipal Council of Tirana met a little while ago to discuss the agenda, while the meeting started with a minute of silence for Dorina Kuka, the councilor who passed away a few days ago.

In the first meeting without Dorina, the mayor Erion Veliaj and members of the Council honored the colleague who left at a very young age, only 35 years old. Veliaj said that the Council will help the family of the deceased councilor through a financial contribution.

" It was really a difficult situation to lose one of the most energetic colleagues of our team. I strongly believe that this human relationship is beyond the political relationship, beyond joint work; we are not people just doing a job, we are a family.

In the next meeting, we will also prepare a complete material, for it a financial treatment for the expenses of our sister's family. I believe it is in our dignity to show solidarity with everyone in this city ," said Veliaj.
