The deputy of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, spoke to the media after he was appointed as a negotiator by the Alibeaj group to negotiate with Berisha and other opposition factors for the possibility of entering with a joint candidate in the next local elections.
Bardhi said that he will discuss with Edi Paloka, who has been appointed as a "negotiator" for the upcoming local elections. According to him, he will not negotiate with Paloka, but they will discuss the possibility of coming out with a common candidate.
Among other things, Bardhi said that Alibeaj's group will not enter into discussions with conditions, but will not accept conditions from Berisha's group either.
Bardhi : To my knowledge, Mr. Berisha has appointed Mr. Paloka to talk. I will contact Mr. Paloka. He is my colleague. I will not negotiate with Mr. Paloka. But we will sit down and talk to explore the possibility that the Democrats will have a candidate in the local elections. Being a joint Democratic candidate, the chances increase significantly.
Question : Will you accept the primary process?
Bardhi : I don't talk in front of the cameras. I will talk to Mr. Paloka, I will see what the attitude of other colleagues is. We neither enter with conditions, nor do we accept conditions. The Democrats want the cooperation of every opposition factor to defeat Edi Rama in the next local elections. How we will agree on the modalities, we will see. I go to talk to an esteemed colleague.
