Gun murder in the Italian city of Pescara.
In a bar, not far from the center, as a result of gunshots, one person was left dead and another was wounded in the face.
The victim's name was Walter Albi, 66 years old, architect by profession.
Luca Cavallito, 48, a former footballer with a criminal record, was seriously injured.
The assailant, with his face covered, then fled on a motorcycle.
The alarm was raised by a local employee, who hid under a table and contacted 118.
The event took place in a residential area a few hundred meters from the city center, near a park, and looks like an execution. The mayor even talks about "settlement".
Some witnesses speak of a brutal and turbulent dynamic. "Run, run, they are all shooting." That's how some boys who were nearby shouted and left after the shooting. A mess, with people hiding behind walls.
The attacker was dressed in all black and a full face mask and fled on a high-powered motorbike along Vittorio Veneto.
In Pescara the last murder dates back to New Year's Eve, but another serious incident took place in April right in the central Piazza Salotto with the serious injury of a restaurant worker.
The police are working to find out the reasons for the murder and to catch the perpetrator.
