Analyst Baton Haxhiu has expressed strong criticism towards Prime Minister Albin Kurti, after the tensions in the north of Kosovo.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Haxhiu said that Kurti had to resign because he is a hostage to his decisions.

"Albin Kurti has done nothing, except that he issues decisions today and cancels them tomorrow, saying that he will implement them after 1 month or later. What has Kurti done? He is a hostage to his decisions, he must express whether he is for or against the association", said Haxhiu.

In the following, he emphasized that when he cannot control the border crossing points for two or three hours, what happens?

"The Kurti government cannot control the territory", said Haxhiu.
