The moment of the child on the sidewalk

A 1-year-old child fell headfirst from the balcony straight to the sidewalk, but miraculously escaped, as, before falling to the ground earlier he fell on the shoulders of a buyer who was on the sidewalk.

The gruesome event took place in the northern Turkish city of Amasya, while the whole scene was filmed by security cameras.

Ruhi Asci, the buyer thanks to whom the child was saved, turns around and sees in amazement the little boy named Khatira Amiri lying on the sidewalk. As he picked up the young man, the mother of the child of Afghan origin ran out and the baby was rushed to hospital by doctors.

Local media reported that Khatira had been playing on an apartment balcony on the first floor when the child slipped through the railings.

The astonished Ruhi said: At first I thought I had dropped a vase of flowers. When I returned, I realized it was a baby. The ambulance arrived at the scene and they were taken to hospital with their mother.

Khatira was rushed to hospital for further medical attention. According to the media, the child was hospitalized in a stable condition in the company of his mother.
