Giulia and Alessia Pisanu

Giulia and Alessia Pisanu are two sisters, the two victims of the tragedy in Italy. Yesterday morning, shortly before 7 o'clock, they were hit by a train while crossing the tracks in Riccione. They lived in a village in the province of Bologna together with their parents and older sister Stefania.

Their father, Vittorio Pisanu, owns a truck company that transports goods. Giulia would have turned 17 in September, while Alesia, who attended art school, was 15. They loved to dance. In social media posts, Giulia posted pictures on social media while looking inseparable from her sister.

"Sometimes, I think my sister is the only reason to live," wrote Giulia. Then he released videos with the most popular songs of the moment by Jake La Furia. The town of Castenaso is in mourning, family and friends are shocked. The reason why the sisters chose to end their lives is still unknown as investigations continue.

How did the event happen?

At around 7 am on Sunday morning, the guard of the tracks and other travelers shouted loudly "Stop, don't", but they failed to prevent the serious incident because the young women crossed the tracks. The scene seen by all the witnesses present was sad and tragic. The girls' bodies were torn apart by the impact and dragged for at least 700 meters. Shoes and personal belongings were found not far from where they crashed.
