Vucic's deputy calls for war: Serbia must denazify the Balkans

The representative of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in power from the National Assembly of Serbia, Vladimir Djukanovic, is causing an avalanche of comments after a post on the social network Twitter in which he announced the "denazification of the Balkans".

"Everything seems to me that Serbia will be forced to begin the denazification of the Balkans. I would like to be wrong".

The term "denazification" was used by Russia as one of the pretexts for the military occupation of Ukraine.

Two hours after this announcement and numerous reactions, SNS's Djukanovic continued in an even more direct tone.

"Wow, the world of two worlds got upset when I wrote that Serbia will have to initiate the denazification of the Balkans. I understand that they have always supported every Serbian enemy, from the Ustashas, the Ballistas, the Hajirs... It was a fact that they were Nazis..."

"Instead of being happy that Serbia has the capacity to help them in denazification, they rebel against it. Anyway, denazification is something that is necessary and educational, and thanks to God, Serbia will help everyone to expel Nazism", said the Serbian MP during the day.

Then he reacted to the reactions of other Balkan countries:

"Denazification is the process of eradicating Nazism as an ideology from society. Serbs, as the biggest victims of Nazism, unlike our neighbors who welcomed the Nazis as liberators, have the capacity to help anyone who wants to in denazification. I think this is something normal", he writes, referring to the Croats.

"I understand our neighbors, because they cannot escape the historical fact that they were on the side of the Nazis. Therefore, the denazification process is painful for them. Serbia is always here to help in this process".

One of those who reacted to Djukanovic's statements is the oppositionist Balsha Bozhovic, who said that the citizens of Serbia are for peace.

"Remove this military regime as soon as possible and ensure peace, economic prosperity and the European future of Serbia. Never brother to brother, neighbor to neighbor! Vucic's regime must be consigned to history urgently."

Djukanovic replied: "Why is Balsha against the eradication of Nazism? Why is he against denazification? I am shocked if Balsha supports the Ustasha, the Ballistas, the pilgrims... I don't want to believe this".

The situation in the North of Mitrovica has become tense on Sunday afternoon, one day before the organization of the process for the registration of illegal number plates in those "RKS" will begin in Kosovo, in all Vehicle Registration Centers.

The Kosovo Police has announced that the border points in Jarinje and Bernjak have been closed, due to road blockages, and has called on citizens to use other border points.
