Oleksiy Goncharenko, deputy in the Ukrainian Parliament and member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, has reacted after the tensions in the north of Kosovo. Through a post on Twitter, Goncharenko writes that Ukraine must protect Kosovars "if Serbia invades Kosovo."

"If Serbia invades Kosovo, we must protect Kosovars. Ukraine is ready to act with our troops on the ground. Serbia is trying to start an aggressive war. Exactly according to Putin's method. As I said, Serbia is Putin's Trojan horse in Europe. The war everywhere in the world is terrible", wrote Goncharenko.

The deputy emphasizes that the reality in which Ukraine has been living for 5 months has come to Kosovo, referring to the war started by Vladimir Putin on the territory of Ukraine.

"The reality in which the whole of Ukraine has been living for 5 months came to Kosovo. We know what it's like to live like this. We wanted the world to stop wars, not start them. The world must finally understand that Russia, Putin and all their "allies" are the cause of conflicts and wars", he concludes.
