An unusual event occurred in the Italian Parliament when deputy Riccardo Magi, secretary of Più Europa, entered the Chamber of Deputies dressed as a ghost to protest against the majority's call for abstention from the referendums of June 8 and 9, while the leader of the Lega party, Riccardo Molinari, was speaking during Prime Minister Meloni's question time.

Magi carried a sheet with the word "referendum" written on it to protest the silence on the referendum issue.

The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana, immediately requested the expulsion of the deputy, who was left by Montecitorio's guards.

"Do you remember?" Magi shouted to Meloni as he was being led out of the hall, while the prime minister looked on with a smile.
