Ozgur Gökçe , the brother of Nusret, known as Salt Bae or the chef of the "golden steak", was arrested on charges of mediating in the prostitution of a minor, as part of an investigation conducted by the Küçükçekmece Prosecutor's Office in Turkey.

Within the framework of the investigation launched by the Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Department of the Küçükçekmece Prosecutor's Office a few months ago, it was revealed that the defendants mediated and provided a place for prostitution, the Public Security Directorate teams conducted an investigation regarding the sending of women, including foreigners, to apartments and hotels through groups on mobile applications.

After technical and physical surveillance, the teams discovered that several suspects were renting bank accounts of various individuals for the commissions they received from prostitution and were laundering the assets they had earned from prostitution.

As a result of reviewing the suspects' transaction movements for the past year, it was discovered that they had inflows and outflows of approximately 15 million euros, an amount believed to have come from prostitution, and that they concealed their identity information by this method.

As part of the investigation, on April 17, simultaneous operations were carried out at 14 different addresses in Büyükçekmece, Silivri, Beylikduzu, Küçükçekmece and Samsun, Diyarbakir and Ankara in Istanbul, and 13 suspects were arrested.

Seven of the suspects were arrested and six were released on bail. Nusret's brother was among those who remained in custody.
